The main deliverable of WG1 is the demonstration of best practices and technologies adapted to the diverse edaphoclimatic conditions of the SUDOE territory for the effective implementation of agroecological practices and regenerative viticulture. This serves as a primary tool for the environmental and social sustainability of the wine sector.
According to this strategy, the results of WG1, together with the development of technical protocols and public policies developed in the Think Tanks (WG2), and the e-learning Platform (WG3), offer a holistic multidisciplinary approach to ensure the adoption of these practices by the SUDOE wine sector, and by direct extension, by the entire EU.
This strategy, developed by all RESILIENT VINES beneficiaries, will be adopted by participating wineries in each Living Lab, incorporating the project’s strategy and the results obtained into their ordinary viticultural management. It will also be adopted by appellations of origin, which will incorporate the best agroecological practices adapted to their respective edaphoclimatic conditions into their respective specifications.
For their part, research centers and universities will incorporate the project’s results into their research lines and training plans.
