ASCA Partners Meet in Bordeaux for a Steering Committee Meeting
On 10 June 2026, the partners of the European project ASCA – Accelerating Smart Capacities in Agroindustry met in Bordeaux (France) for a Steering Committee meeting.
Hosted by Bordeaux INP – ENSMAC, the meeting brought together the ten consortium partners to review the project’s progress and continue discussions on its implementation.
Reviewing the project’s progress
During the meeting, partners reviewed the different work packages and discussed their progress.
The discussions also focused on the recruitment campaigns targeting agri-food SMEs currently being carried out across the partner territories, as well as the communication activities implemented to promote the project and engage companies.
These exchanges enabled partners to share their progress, coordinate upcoming actions and continue the project’s implementation through a common approach.
Cooperation at the heart of the project
Beyond operational monitoring, the Steering Committee also provided an opportunity to discuss the project’s strategic directions and further strengthen ASCA’s role as a European initiative dedicated to accelerating the capacities of agri-food SMEs.
Bringing together French, Spanish and Portuguese partners, the project relies on transnational cooperation to promote the exchange of experiences, knowledge transfer and the development of shared solutions supporting the industrial, green and digital transition of agri-food businesses.
A moment for networking and conviviality
Alongside the working sessions, partners had the opportunity to discover Bordeaux’s historic city centre and enjoy a tasting of local products.
These informal moments also help strengthen relationships between consortium members and reinforce the collaborative spirit that drives the project.
