On 28 May 2026, within the framework of the REMAIN project, partner AIDA CCI will hold the workshop “Artificial Intelligence, Circular Economy and Industrial Remanufacturing”, a session aimed at analysing the role of new technologies and circular models in the transformation of the manufacturing industry.
The transition towards more sustainable and circular industrial models is becoming increasingly relevant across manufacturing sectors. This process is driving the adoption of new technologies, resource recovery strategies and solutions designed to extend product lifecycles, reduce waste and improve the efficiency of industrial processes.
In this context, the workshop will bring together specialists from the University of Coimbra and the digital platform LoopOS, who will share knowledge, innovative solutions and practical applications related to circular economy, artificial intelligence and industrial remanufacturing.
During the session, the following topics, among others, will be addressed:
- Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision.
- Circular Economy and Remanufacturing.
- Circular strategies for the footwear and textile sectors.
- Case studies and industrial applications.
Participation is free of charge, although prior registration is required.
