As part of the Interreg Sudoe project “ResilientES”, the team from the University of Toulouse–Jean Jaurès joined local volunteers from the collectif Du tour du Prè in Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val for a sectorial “chantier collectif” dedicated to caring for and transforming a shared space. Together, participants cleared weeds, loosened the soil, planted flowers, and repaired the basketball hoop, turning an abandoned area into a place of encounter and collective action. Beyond the physical transformation, this initiative was an opportunity to develop a bottom-up approach based on dialogue, listening, and co-creation with local communities. By working alongside the people who use the space every day, we were able to better understand their realities and imagine solutions together.

More than renovating a place, this chantier helped build relationships, trust, and shared ways of inhabiting a common future”.
