This project is a response to the challenge of guaranteeing the supply of sustainable energy in south-west Europe by means of the technology of Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells (PEMFC) with the integration of renewable sources of H2. To achieve this objective it proposes the creation of an R+D+I network of excellence in Spain, France, and Portugal so as to produce four innovative PEMFC prototypes that will be used in transport (for bicycles and cars), stationary sources (for buildings or public lighting), and portable devices (such as computers and telephones).
