ALERT-PFAS es un proyecto europeo que busca detectar, prevenir y mitigar la contaminación por PFAS, sustancias altamente contaminantes utilizadas en espumas contra incendios. A través de tecnologÃas innovadoras, como sensores ópticos, nanotecnologÃa e inteligencia artificial, el proyecto monitorea y elimina estos compuestos en parques naturales de España, Portugal y Francia. Además, sensibiliza y capacita a actores clave para reducir el impacto ambiental y combatir el cambio climático.
El principal objetivo de NEWPOWER es la resolución de los problemas asociados a la alta generación de residuos agrÃcolas y forestales, que se acumulan cada vez en mayor medida debido al abandono del medio rural, y que causan gran cantidad de incendios.

The STOP-IATRO project, which brings together 6 organizations from 3 European countries, aims to raise awareness among healthcare professionals about the risks of iatrogenesis in older people. Through collective strategies based on WHO recommendations, the project seeks to prevent medical complications that can lead to a loss of autonomy. It focuses on identifying obstacles, developing an inclusive strategy, providing training programs, and carrying out pilot actions to improve the quality of care and prevent the adverse effects of medical treatments.
